The light that our eyes can “see” is an incredibly small portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. We said before that the ROYGBIV is like a penny to the million dollars that is the EMS.

Another way to think about it…

If each of the types of waves would be written in my How much is a million? book (where there are 1 million zeros), the colors (ROYGBIV) would only make up 1/100th of one of the zeros on a page.
